Yes, I have noticed that as well. I haven’t really thought of any long term plans for how to weave that into the story yet though. But I like that they are both “witch-like” characters. Well… we know emily is a witch, but it’s still not certain about Ms. Morrell. She’s part of the faction that is against Esther though. Though she probably has her own motives as well.
TW/TVD Crossover- Klaus and Peter have a delicate alliance that gets strained when Caroline and Lydia are threatened.

That’s a good question and my answer is: reluctant allies. At least for now. If you follow the more story arc gif sets, you’ll know that in my Beacon Falls universe, the witches are the ones in power. They are at war with one another and Derek is slowly catching on to that and he needs a witch to help him accomplish whatever it is he needs to accomplish (I can’t say yet because I am still developing the story).
