AU - Klaus tortured Caroline for information about Elena months ago, but still feeling vengeful even after all of that time has passed in between, with a little help from Bonnie, she finds a way to even the score.

AU Steroline: It’s 1920 in Chicago, Stefan, Caroline, Katherine and Klaus are best friends since 1864. Stefan falls in love with Caroline, Klaus’s girlfriend, even if he’s with Katherine. When things become out of control Klaus and Katherine decide to make Stefan forget about Caroline. Katherine and Stefan leave Chicago and they meet Klaus and Caroline again at Mystic Falls during the present decade and everything seems like 1920 all over again so Klaus decide to give Stefan his memories back.
